Description

The author of the preface is Itō Senzō 伊東専三 (1850–1914), pen name Kyōtō 橋塘, the proprietor of an okashi shop (Japanese sweets), who also worked at the Ministry of Finance. As a writer, he was the pupil of the well known author of popular fiction Kanagaki Robun (1829–1894).
