Japan Museum SieboldHuis is PBO (Public Benefit Organisation, ABNI in Dutch), which offers fiscal advantages of the ‘Donation Law’ (Geefwet).

A PBO does not pay Dutch inheritance tax or gift tac on inheritances.

A PBO does not pay Dutch gift tax on gifts that the organisation awards to the public benefit.

Natural and legal persons who donate to a PBO van deduct their gifts from the Dutch income tax or corporate income tax.
